Traditional fishing methods require constant monitoring of fishing lines, leading to inefficiencies, missed catches, and time-consuming efforts. A smart solution was needed to detect fish activity in real-time, reducing manual intervention and improving catch efficiency while ensuring seamless connectivity for remote monitoring.

Developed an IoT-enabled fish catching system using an ESP32 microcontroller and vibration sensors to detect fish movements on the line. When a fish bites, the sensor captures the vibration and sends real-time data to a cloud server via Wi-Fi. A mobile app receives instant notifications, providing the user with real-time insights on whether a fish is caught or not. The system also logs historical catch data, enabling users to analyze fishing patterns over time. With low power consumption, remote access, and smart alerts, this innovative solution enhances fishing efficiency, reduces wait times, and offers a modern approach to traditional fishing techniques.
